… at 4:30 a.m.
Brackets will be released today at 10 a.m. (he'll have two former world champions in his bracket), with semifinals slated to start around 10:30 a.m. ET tomorrow.
If he makes the finals (starting at noon ) or repechage (start at 4:30) he'll be in action Saturday.
I'll add that at world team trials a few weeks ago, I thought Gwiazdowski looked better than ever. Despite announcing that he took a job at Cornell, he was training in Raleigh up until right before trials IIRC. I believe this will be his fourth world championship appearance, and he has won two bronze medals in his prior showings.
Also worth noting the U.S. has an absolutely stacked team going in. They are expected to contend for the team title, which I think the U.S. has won only 3 times before.
