Well, admittedly I threw farming in there to get a few guys attention like AgWolf.....

But, I need some help. Several years ago, I planted thornless blackberries and they have gone nuts. I love a big sweet blackberry (got to pick them like grape growers have to do to make wine, just at the perfect time) but unfortunately so do pests. In particular, green june bugs love them more than me (among other bugs and beatles). They will eat red berries and not just the ripe ones so it is a problem. I have searched the internet for remedies and Sevin works but only for a short time and then you have to wait to harvest and by that time the stinky june bugs are back.

So for you Ag Science guys out there, can you provide any help? What can I do to keep these nasty, blackberry devouring bugs away? Or is it simply the old farmers expression that is the only answer, grow enough that bugs and varmints get their fill.
