Had this discussion recently with some Wolfpack friends around how you define the value of the money and time you invest in Wolfpack football. And money includes not just tickets, but tailgate costs as well. I know we spend a fair amount to put on a quality tailgate with good food and drink each week and all the equipment that goes along with that.

Specifically, I’m sure we all place a great deal of value on the social aspects of going to Wolfpack football games. The time spent with family and friends and the memories made are often markers in our lives. And when your program hasn’t won a conference title in 43 years you clearly have to make other aspects of the experience your focus.

But how much do people value the actual football and success of the program? What would it take before you opted against buying tickets? The stadium continues to be mostly full in recent times, so clearly that point has not been reached for most. But just as a discussion topic, curious as to what this equation looks like for different people.
