Back in the day from what I read and heard is that Dave Odom wanted the State job after Robinson was let go. The problem was he was already at Wake and inter conference head coaching changes were taboo. The other weird thing was Boo’s dad Gene was the ACC commissioner and supposedly blocked this from happening also. Would be kinda ironic if Ryan Odom winds up at State.
