NC State offered Lovejoy (Ga.) Hampton High senior linebacker Chad Fairchild after his freshman year. NC State, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State and Kansas, always seemed to be in the mix the last two years. He ended visiting Tony Gibson and Marshall and then went to see East Carolina, and has picked the Pirates, so one less player visiting NC State next weekend.
