I think the key for McNeese State is not drawing a team who has a low-post scoring threat. They basically play four guards between 6-3 and 6-5 with 6-8 power forward Joe Charles.
The best player in the floor today was Quadir Copeland of Syracuse. He is playing point guard at 6-5ish and Lamar had trouble with him, and he had 18 points and 4 assists. McNeese State was just 3 of 17 on 3-pointers. Wing D.J. Richards is an elite shooter, and he hit two of them, but rest of squad had one.
