NC State has been working hard to land wings, whether via transfer (Devon Daniels or C.J. Bryce) and now by the junior college ranks. Mike'l Simms has been a popular recruit lately due to the fact he has three years of eligibility remaining. The Richmond, Va., native played for Crowley County J.C., and he averaged 14 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Pittsburgh, VCU, Texas Tech, East Carolina, St. Bonaventure, Long Beach State, Wichita State, Loyola Marymount, UC Santa Barbara and Youngstown State have offered.
