Rolesville (N.C.) High senior running back Isiah Jones has helped answer the question on whether NC State wants two running backs in the class of 2024. It's yes, and he probably could be committing soon after receiving an offer today after camp. He checked in at 5-10 3/4 and 191 pounds and ran a 4.6 and 4.62 in the 40-yard dash. He told me he is shutting it down on going to camps at other schools, so that is a sure sign of what he likely will do in the next week or so. He had an ankle injury his sophomore year, so only played in one game, but he came back strong last year with 154 carries for 1,122 yards and 11 touchdowns in splitting the carries at Rolesville. His cousins are NC State strength and conditioning assistant coach Marcus Jones, who played at Minnesota, and reserve running back Demarcus Jones.
