They had about 5 plays, including the play we got the safety, that were really terrible calls. Glad we got the breaks this time.

I understand. I just don't expect a 2nd string QB to play perfect, to never make a mistake. Make ever throw. Liberty is a pretty good team. Their kids are on scholarship as well. They are going to make plays. I thought we did a great job stopping Willis but they adjusted at halftime and shut down our run game. They were ranked and undefeated for a reason.

I think they would say they made mistakes as well. Their coach mentioned after the game that Willis made a lot of mistakes
Whether the picks or his sacks or whatever, our players had something to do with any mistakes he made. Presnap penalties and a snap going through a QBs' hands are not influenced by the opponent.
I think the D would benefit with more four-man rushes. Just slide Wilson up there on the edge occassionally on 3rd down. Now, it seems like we either rush 3 and drop in a zone, or rush 5 or 6 and play cover 1 or cover 0.
i would say they did have a role in our mistakes. When you are getting pressure Hockman was looking around and took his eye off the ball. Our o line jumped, possibly to get a jump on making their block ass they had a tough second half holding them out of our backfield.
Exciting win & nice defensive effort! Penalties were frustrating.

I can guarantee you Maryland football fans and Danny O Brien are telling anyone that will listen about the time they beat Russell Wilson and NC State.
First Liberty drive of the game we started out with 4 man rushes as we had TBW walked up on the LOS as the 4th man. We also brought Ingle as the 4th man on a blitz once that drive as well. We do this a lot with 13, 11 and 31 as the 4th man on the LOS.
On the 2nd Liberty drive, 3rd and 9, we showed bringing 5 on the LOS but 11 dropped and we rushed 4 with 31.
We do this a good bit.

QB at MD lost starting position, transferred to WI lost starting position, transferred to Catawba and kept starting position. Played Canadian football

I will look for it more. It sure seemed like for much of the season that we were basically rushing 3 or blitzing with 5 or 6.
I've noticed we will walk 13 up to the LOS a good bit and against VT we had 31 and 32 up on the LOS as the 4th man. We did it against Wake at the end of the game but we kept changing the looks there at the end.
Wilson rushes some but this past week he had spy on Willis. His job was just to keep Willis in front of him.
I was basically referring to TV money. Not sure if a game is canceled how it affects their share
