Local player Bobby Pettiford of Creedmoor (N.C.) South Granville is transferring from Kansas to East Carolina. He'll be competing in the backcourt with Bailey (N.C.) Southern Nash junior point guard Jordan Vick at some point. Pettiford had committed to Louisville or signed with them, but after the Chris Mack firing ended up at Kansas. He's very close to the NC State guys like Terquavion Smith and Breon Pass.
