Quaintance has been the ultimate hired gun, from travel teams to high schools to now colleges. The Rivals.com five-star center had signed with Kentucky, but is now going to Arizona State, picking the Sun Devlis over Arkansas, Memphis and Louisville. Because he's graduating high school in three years, he'll have to do two years of college. Ironically, his guy Eric Leak, former NC State wide receiver, had him at Phoenix Hillcrest Prep, but he left in the middle of the season to WOG, showing up for the title game of the John Wall Holiday Invitational.
Even by 2024 standards, this is a stunner.
