I'm posting this because I know several on here have back and or neck issues. Two weeks ago today I had two disc replacements in my neck and today I was out mowing my yard which is about five acres until it started raining. Before I got on my zero turn I pushed mowed a ditch and weedeated around twenty eight pear and dogwood trees. I never had to wear a neck collar and minimal pain only pain medicine I took was a muscle relaxer Valium and two Aleve for the first three or four days. When I went for my follow up visit today the Dr released me to do whatever I liked the only thing he said was rest if I got tired. He even cut out the plates and screws that were put in my neck in 1998. If you are considering having surgery on your spine because of an injury I highly recommend you look at this procedure. Sorry to get off of sports topic but if this helps someone it it is really worth it.
