The NC State men's basketball team will play in the 2017 Battle 4 Atlantis, held at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas, ESPN announced Friday afternoon.
The 12-game, three-day tournament will be held over Thanksgiving weekend in 2017 - Nov. 22-24 - and is regarded as one of the most challenging early-season tournaments in college basketball.
The Wolfpack join a loaded field that will also feature Arizona, Northern Iowa, Purdue, SMU, Tennessee, Villanova and Western Kentucky.
The 2017 tournament field boasts a combined 16 Final Four appearances and five National Championships.
NC State's appearance in the 2017 Battle 4 Atlantis will mark the second consecutive season the Pack have played a non-conference tournament in the Caribbean. This season, NC State played three games in the Paradise Jam held at the U.S. Virgin Islands.
