And people forget we beat them the first game of the next year in the Springfield Kickoff where Spud Webb and Lorenzo were unstoppable, even with Olajuwan still on their team.
Unless I missed it in the first 5 minutes, they never mentioned Jim Valvano's name throughout..
I think it is very evident Dean outcoached Guy V in the 82' Semi's, Jimmy V did in the 83' Finals, and John Thompson did in the 84' Finals. The elephant in the room is Guy Lewis was a very average coach when it came to crunch time.
On of their guys claims they were the best team of that era in the film, but I would say that is BS.
Heck, didn't G'town make 3 out of 4 Final Four's in the same era, including winning one?
