The crowd last night was one of our best ever; lit up, loud and ready to go. The defense was great against an at least average/ good passing attack team. Everything that we did on offense took the crowd out of the game. Ill-timed time-outs, running plays after them, etc. You'd think Ted Cain was back. We did take a couple shots down field at least. Worse than that was the clock management at the end of the 2nd quarter that allowed them to score. Also, multiple silly penalties and at least 3 busted plays. We won this game on defense and one absolutely great trick play.
What are we saving our play book for? Are we good enough to just turn it on when the competition is better?
Lastly, that light show was the coolest thing ever at Carter; money well spent.
