Might as well cover this topic. We have covered beer, bourbon, fishing and golf. Gets our minds off politics and we may learn something.
1st, i dont know much about scotch. I friend on this site got me started on Dewars which is a blend and i enjoyed for the most part. Then everyone else figured it out and the price went up so my friend turned me on to Famous Grouse, also a blend. However over time and income growth i branched out to the single malts.
I have odd tastes. While i enjoy Lagalvulin and Laphroaig which have a peaty flavor, I really like Oban, Glenmorangie, Balvenie, and Aberlour. I drink mine over ice. Just like my bourbons i prefer them cold.
