“I played there last year,” Hartman actually said, following the Tennessee State game. “It’s a very hostile environment. Their fans are going to bring it. They’re not going to like us. We understand that there’s a huge challenge.”
“Obviously, [there’s NC State’s] offense with [transfer QB] Brennan Armstrong, a friend of mine, who’s an incredibly talented player in an offensive scheme from when he played at Virginia,” Hartman said. “A lot of trickeration. Then, their defense is always strong. Their linebacker corps is always one of the best in the nation. D-line's always going to be strong. Their secondary’s got some dudes. It’s going to be a challenge.”
