Tennessee defensive back Stephen Griffin is transferring to NC State, the Wolfpack announced. He started near the end of the season after a series of injuries to the Vols secondary.
Griffin's dad played at Clemson, and he officially visited Tennessee and North Carolina while in high school in the class of 2015. Griffin grew up in Knoxville, hence the tie to Tennessee.
