The men have done well. Both women’s and men’s tennis have really improved in recent years.
It seems like we were great at everything in the '70's on into the '80's!!
Yes. strong in many sports in those days. Part of the reason I chose State. Football died with Tom Reed. (it was on life support with Monte Kiffin). State was a sports powerhouse in the 1970's. Probably the best overall sports success until the past 3-4 years. (Top 20 in Learfield Directors cup)
If we can keep our woman's team together and add the blue chip, we should have a really strong team next year. Hoping Laki isn't one and done.

Watching Sadri and John Lucas play for Maryland was excellent. I believe Sadri lost to McEnroe in the NCAA finals too....not sure which year though.
