NC State has verbal commitments from the following prospects:

Three-star defensive back Jalen Frazier from Cornelius (N.C.) Hough High
Three-star running back Jamious Griffin, Rome (Ga.) High
Three-star guard/center Timothy McKay from Raleigh Wakefield
Three-star linebacker Jaylon Scott, Shelby (N.C.) High
Three-star receiver Chris Toudle from Wilmington (N.C.) Hoggard High

Here is a listing of the top 50 prospects in the order that we think they are likely to pick NC State.

1. Three-star lineman Zovon Lindsay, Fayetteville (N.C.) Trinity Christian
We put the over/under on Lindsay (6-foot-4. 275 pounds) making his verbal commitment at 1.5 months from now. Provided NC State wants him, our confidence is high he will pick the Wolfpack.

Projection: NC State

2. Three-star linebacker Drake Thomas, Wake Forest (N.C.) Heritage High
D-day for Thomas (6-foot-1, 230 pounds) will be June 1, and going into the announcement you will not likely find anyone who thinks it will be anything other than NC State.
Last week: 3
Projection: NC State

3. Three-star defensive lineman Christian Rorie, Raleigh Enloe High
Rorie (6-foot-6, 260 pounds) has picked up offers from Central Florida and Syracuse this week, but this still sounds like a NC State-Duke battle at the moment. Question is will Rorie make a decision this summer or wait?
Last week: 2
Projection: NC State

4. Three-star safety J.R. Walker, Elizabeth City (N.C.) Northeastern High
NC State leads for the 6-foot-1, 200 pounder with South Carolina the top competition at the moment and UNC an emerging wildcard. Like Rorie, will Walker make a decision in the summer or fall?
Last week: 4
Projection: NC State

5. Four-star defensive end/linebacker Traveon Freshwater, Elizabeth City (N.C.) Northeastern High
Our guess is that Freshwater’s recruitment will come into clearer focus over the summer (in terms of which colleges are prioritizing him). We hope to get an update from Freshwater in the near future.
Last week: 6
Projection: NC State

6. Three-star defensive back Chris Shearin, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Shearin (5-foot-11, 175 pounds) is a native of Suffolk, Va., who has visited NC State in the past and was offered during the spring evaluation period. When we talked to Shearin over the weekend, his interest level in NC State seemed very high. Duke, Missouri, Rutgers, Syracuse and Virginia have also offered.

Projection: NC State

7. Three-star tight end Kyle Bilodeau, Woodberry Forest (Va.) High
The 6-foot-5, 235-pounder added a third Power Five offer this week when Purdue joined NC State and Pitt. The question is does NC State turn on the full court press if Luke Deal picks somewhere else Friday.
Last week: 5
Projection: NC State

8. Three-star wide receiver Isaiah Washington, Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy
NC State offered the 6-foot-3, 177-pounder last week and immediately shot up toward the top of his list, probably alongside Wake Forest. Washington camped at NC State last year and will probably swing through Raleigh and Winston-Salem next month and perhaps make a decision.
Last week: Unrated
Projection: NC State

9. Three-star offensive tackle Carter Colquitt, Buford (Ga.) High

Colquitt, 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, is practically down to NC State and Ole Miss and we anticipate a summertime decision. Colquitt was practically a silent commit to NCSU earlier in the spring, but Ole Miss to its credit, have made it a race.
Last week: 7
Projection: NC State

10. Four-star defensive end Savion Jackson, Clayton (N.C.) High
Based on the feedback from Rivals’ Adam Friedman from his stop at Clayton High and from others, we have a small bump on Jackson (6-foot-3, 245 pounds), but his recruitment still has a ways to go and there are some other serious challengers, notably South Carolina where he will officially visit the first weekend in June.
Last week: 11
Projection: NC State

11. Three-star athlete Keyon Lesane, Matthews (N.C.) Butler High
Lesane (6-foot, 180 pounds) has been fairly quiet on the recruiting trail but as we noted last week this one is shaping up as a bit of an old-fashioned NC State-UNC battle. We give the edge to NC State for now, but would not be surprised if it goes either way.
Last week: 8
Projection: NC State

12. Three-star offensive tackle Jeremy James, Cumming (Ga.) North Forsyth High
After a nice spring for James (6-foot-5, 300 pounds), that included offers from Central Florida, Louisville, North Carolina and Marshall, the question is what is next for James. NC State was his first offer and he’s been to Raleigh multiple times. It was shaping up as a NC State-Ole Miss battle but we’ll see where it goes in the summer.
Last week: 9
Projection: NC State

13. Three-star offensive lineman Donavan Beaver, Spotsylvania (Va.) Massaponax High
The 6-foot-6, 270-pounder added offers from UCF, Pitt, Syracuse and West Virginia since late-April and put off a decision. We like where NC State stands with him, but there will be only so many offensive line spots available.
Last week: 10
Projection: NC State

14. Four-star defensive tackle Joshua Harris, Roxboro (N.C.) Person High
Some think that this could be, like we suggested it might be with Lesane, a UNC-NC State battle. We do not know if that is the case or not but we do hear good things about NC State and the 6-foot-3, 300-pounder.
Last week: 12
Projection: NC State

15. Three-star safety Khalid Martin, Kernersville (N.C.) East Forsyth High
The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder’s recruitment will probably come into better focus during the summer, but at the moment most believe this is a NC State-Virginia Tech battle. However it has been really quiet lately.
