Help me with this.
Virginia has been one of the very best teams in the ACC for the last 10 years.
ACC regular season champs - 2007, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019
ACC Tournament Champs - 2014, 2018
NCAA Champs - 2019
Pretty good talent, probably 6th or 7th or 8th best in the ACC according
to recruiting rankings.
So, how do they do it? I know they play this Pack Line defense but how hard
would it be for other teams to mimic that defense?
NC State has the same level of talent that they do every year, Syracuse does too and Clemson, Fla. State for sure,
Duke and Carolina of course. Louisville yes.
I don’t quite get why other teams can’t copy that defense.
In football, teams always copy successful teams, shotgun offense, five wide outs, fast playing,
blitzing linebackers, two deep safeties etc.
When teams look to hire a football coach they always say, "Joe Blow was the defensive coordinator at
Meredith College when they won the National Championship".
So, hire someone who can teach that defense. Can't be that hard. There are only five guys you
have to worry about.
I am so disgusted with being mediocre.
