I'm not worried about Lorena being too slow to react. She has the physical strength and athleticism that can play with upper echelon 5 position players. Now experience is something she is certainly lacking so that could be an issue. But we do have 15 fouls to give at that spot so we can be aggressive and we have to be strong with our block outs. At times we give up too many second chance opportunities and we can be a little lax in our perimeter defense at times.

We lost to LSU by 17 on Nov 27th. Collier started and got most of the minutes. Tilda barely played. Awou got a few minutes. Our guards did decent, but we are a totally different team now. Wes will look at the film, and I like our chances. If we get by LSU, we'll beat UCLA.

It’s a treat, an opportunity to compete against the best.
Fear is absurd.
Challenges are exciting & motivating.
All the ESPN WBB commentators picked LSU over State for the reasons i noted above.
Our players get to compete on a big stage against a highly respected opponent. What could be better than that?

Confidence doesn’t come from external factors like seeds.
The confidence comes from the games won and the knowledge earned about how to win.
I expect both teams to be confident and hopefully we win a good game.

Agree, I am not counting out our ladies. It’s going to be a tough game, but if they bring their A game, they can win it.
