Recruiting NC State in top 8 for Jordan Shipp as expected...

NC State, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina and Virginia Tech have made the top eight for Jordan Shipp. In my mind, it is probably a top three with NC State, Michigan and UNC, and the only surprise to not make it was South Carolina, so that might mean the Gamecocks haven't pushed hard.

If Michigan gets Providence Day junior quarterback Jadyn Davis and junior wide receiver Channing Goodwin, that won't be good for NC State with Shipp.

February has been a quiet month due to the dead period, but NC State pulls the trigger in offering Charlotte Independence High junior safety Quentin Reddish.

His rise has been kind of an old school gradual one where schools finally see his HUDL film in January, a bunch of Group of Give offers happen. He then broke through with Duke, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Missouri.

And now NC State.
