NC State point guard signee Zoe Brooks, hopefully fully healthy, will be playing in the girls McDonald’s All-American Game. The girls game starts at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2, and the boys game is 9 p.m. on ESPN.

Other future ACC players in the game:

Jadyn Donovan, Duke
Hannah Hidalgo, Notre Dame
Emma Risch, Notre Dame
Kymora Johnson, Virginia

I was curious to see how each conference did and I know the trend has been toward the SEC in men. I didn’t include Texas and Oklahoma with the SEC and USC and UCLA with the Big Ten.

But if included, the Big Ten would have four and SEC would have eight on the girls side. Isaiah Collier (USC) and Ron Holland (Texas) on the boys side.

Broken down by leagues:

SEC: 6
Pac-12: 6
ACC: 5
Big 12: 3
Big Ten: 2
Big East: 2

On the boys side, Duke has a trio of players — power forward Sean Stewart, shooting guard Jared McCain and small forward Mackenzie Mgbako — and that is it for the ACC.

SEC: 6
Pac-12: 5
Big 12: 5
ACC: 3
Big Ten: 2
Big East: 1

• Note, Bronny James is still undecided
