Ichiro Suzuki was a freak in every possibly good way, and had to start his MLB career at 27, so it is easy to think how many more hits he would have ended with.

Wagner was as good a closer there was for many years. Maybe right behind Trevor Hoffman and Mariano Rivera. Seeing what he did for the Braves in his last season in 2010 was ridiculous for a 38-year-old.

Could someone nitpick Sabathia? Sure, but a workhorse pitcher, whose career progressed exactly as it should have, hitting his peak during his prime at age 27-31. Clearly no performance enhancing situation as he got older. It might be hard for pitchers to win 200 games now, and he won 251.
